History of the Viner Scholarship
The Viner Community Scholarship Program was established in 2015 by the Eda & Cliff Viner Community Scholars Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The scholarship is awarded to high school students in South Palm Beach County, Florida, who demonstrate academic excellence, financial need, and a commitment to community service.
Field of Study
The scholarship programs are open for college students at the University of Pennsylvania and Boston University and wanted to target the best and brightest students in our own community who have a real need for financial assistance.

Scholarship Value and Inclusions
The Viner Scholarship is a four-year scholarship that covers tuition and room and board expenses at a public Florida university or college. The scholarship is also renewable each year, provided that the student maintains a minimum GPA of 3.0 and continues to meet the other eligibility requirements.Viner Scholarship
In addition to the financial award, Viner Scholars also receive the following:
- A mentor to guide and support them throughout their college experience
- Access to a network of resources and opportunities
- Invitations to exclusive events and workshops

Eligibility and Other Details of the Viner Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have:
- Achieved at least a 3.0 unweighted GPA
- Performed 100+ hours of community service during high school
- Demonstrated the need for significant financial assistance
- Intention to attend a Florida Public University
- Attended one of our Partner High Schools
