Eligibility and Requirements for the USC Merit Scholarships

To be eligible for USC Merit Scholarships, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Have a minimum SAT score of 1300 or ACT score of 29
  • Submit a completed USC application form
  • Submit official transcripts from all high schools attended
  • Submit official SAT or ACT scores

How to Apply for the USC Merit Scholarships

  • Visit the scholarship’s official website
  • Administered through the Office of Admission, USC Merit Scholarships require students to apply for admission to the university by the December 1 deadline.
  • All students who submit a complete application will be automatically considered for a scholarship. Ranging in value from a few thousand dollars up to full tuition, merit scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, leadership, service, and talent.
  • These include the full-tuition, four-year Trustee scholarship, the half-tuition Presidential Scholarship, and the one-quarter tuition Deans Scholarship.
