About the Tortuga Backpack Scholarship: Tortuga Backpacks Scholarship provides study abroad funds to students who want to participate in exciting extracurricular activities while studying abroad. This scholarship is given biannually to qualified American undergraduate students as well as those with a U.S. visa who want to travel throughout the world as part of their international program.

- Have applied to or been accepted into a study abroad program eligible for credit by your college or university
