MTN Scholarship Value and Inclusions

The scholarship provides its recipients with NGN 200,000 per year to cover their living expenses. The subsidies cover students’ tuition, housing, and a monthly maintenance allowance. You are entitled to continue the scholarship each year as long as you maintain a 3.5 CGPA or more on a 4.0 scale point or any comparable second-class upper.
You will also be registered with the MTN Scholars Foundation, where you may be offered a career with MTN.

Target Group: The scholarship is open to Nigerian undergraduate students who are high-performing and are in their 300L in any Nigerian public tertiary institution (universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education).

Eligibility for the MTN Scholarship

To be qualified for the MTN Foundation Scholarship, you must satisfy the following criteria:

• You must be a third-year or 300l student at any recognized public university or educational institution in Nigeria.MTN Scholarship for Science and Technology Students 2024 Application
• Part-time students are not eligible; you must be a full-time student to be considered for this award.
• You must have a high cumulative grade point average (CGPA) to be eligible for this scholarship. Applicants must have at least a 3.5 CGPA on a scale of 4.0, or an equivalent of 2:1.
• If you are a polytechnic applicant, you must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 to be eligible for your Ordinary National Diploma (OND).
• Also, you must have achieved admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) prior to the scholarship application.
• If you’re a direct entrance student at any university, you must have a National Diploma score of at least 3.0, however, you can only apply at the 300l level.

Step-by-Step Application Guide for the MTN Scholarship

The MTN scholarship online application process consists of two steps and they are as follows:

Step 1 – Account Creation

The first step is the account creation which you have to:

• Go to the Home Page Select the “Create Account” button.
• Enter your name, email address, and password, then click the “Submit” button.
• Log in with your registered email address and password.

Once you’ve completed the first stage, you should surely go to the second step.

Step 2 – Main Application

Please make sure you fill out all of the information on the MTN scholarship second stage correctly.

• First, from the homepage, Enter your email address and password, then click the Login button.
• After logging in, Copy the 12-digit PIN number along with your page and click the “Apply for Scholarship” button to start applying
• Enter the 12-digit PIN number and click “Apply Now”
• Enter all of the essential information on the Application Form and click the “Submit” button.
• Make sure to print a copy of the completed form for verification purposes.

• Student ID
• National ID, International passport, Driver’s license, or Voter’s card
• Admission Letter from the school of study and from the Joint Admission And Matriculation Board (JAMB)
• Admission Letter for Higher National Diploma (HND) programs (only for polytechnic students)
