About the Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship: The Jimmy Rane Foundation was formed to help deserving kids attend college. Since that time, the Foundation has given out 620 scholarships to worthy students. Their hardworking and exceptional individuals have used their scholarships to attend various colleges across the country.

Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship Value and Inclusions
The annual scholarship sum ranges from $500 to $5,000. If all prerequisites are met, the scholarship may be renewed yearly for a maximum of four academic years (or eight semesters).

Eligibility for the Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship
- Must not be an employee of Great Southern Wood Preserving, Incorporated, its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household
- Students seeking degrees through online or distance learning programs exclusively shall not be eligible
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 for graduating high school seniors
- Students enrolled full-time as high school seniors, progressing normally towards graduation in the spring or summer of 2023, with plans to enter college no later than the Fall following graduation
- Students enrolled full-time as a college freshman or sophomore, no older than 20 years of age as of August 1, 2023, and progressing normally towards a bachelor’s degree
- Must reside in the District of Columbia: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, Louisiana, Texas, North Carolina, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, Delaware, or New Jersey.
- Exhibit academic excellence, leadership skills, and community involvement.
- Demonstration of financial need
