  • Applicant must be an undergraduate or graduate student interested in Acoustics unless a qualified candidate cannot be identified. In that case, the scholarship will be awarded to a student in the Mechanical Engineering Department.
  • The applicant must be a student currently enrolled full-time in the Department of Mechanical Engineering who demonstrates leadership qualities and financial need.
  • The applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
  • The applicant must demonstrate the perseverance required to obtain a degree.
  • To determine the qualifications of candidates, recommendations of principals and teachers, school records, an entrance examination, and completion of the St. Paul’s School application are essential parts of the admission procedure.
  • The required entrance examination is the Secondary School Admissions Test (www.ssat.org) administered by the Educational Testing Service in December or January of the school year prior to admission.
