About the Eiffel Scholarship – The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme is a prominent scholarship programme established by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. It is intended to increase international recruitment to French higher education institutions, particularly to attract top foreign students to master’s and doctoral programmes.

Eiffel Scholarship Value/Inclusions
- The Eiffel scholarship comprises a monthly grant of €1,181 and can be given for 12-36 months of Master’s level education.
- The Eiffel scholarship comprises a monthly payment of €1,700 for PhD level studies and is offered for a maximum of 12 months.
- Furthermore, the programme covers a variety of expenses such as foreign and domestic transportation, health insurance, housing searches, and cultural events.
- The Eiffel Programme does not pay tuition costs. According to article R719-49 of the national education code, recipients of French government scholarships are exempt from tuition charges for programmes leading to a national diploma (master’s, doctorate) or accredited engineering degree in public institutions of a scientific, cultural, or professional nature overseen by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research.

Eligibility for the Eiffel Scholarship For International Students
For Masters scholarships:
1. International students aged 25 and under (born after March 1998) are eligible for Master’s Scholarships in the following fields:
- Science and techniques: Biology and health, Ecological transition, Mathematics and digital, Science and engineering
- Human and social sciences, including history, French language and civilization, law and political science, economics, and management.
2. You must be applying for the first time (combining the Eiffel scholarship with other French government financial aid is not permitted).
3. Candidates who are currently studying in France are ineligible.

For Ph.D. scholarships:
1. International Ph.D. student aged 30 or under (born after March 1993) for a co-supervised or co-directed Ph.D. programme in one of the following fields:
- Science and Techniques: biology and health, ecological transformation, Science and engineering, mathematics and digital
- Human and social sciences: History, French language and civilization, Law and political sciences, Economics and management
2. You must be applying for the first time (combining the Eiffel scholarship with other French government financial aid is not permitted).

Eiffel Scholarship For International Students Step-by-Step Application Guide
Direct applications from students are NOT accepted. French Higher Education Institutions submit applications for EIFFEL scholarships. Applications provided directly by students or international institutions will be rejected.
To be considered for the scholarship, you must apply and meet the conditions of the French Higher Education Institution.
