JAMB in Nigeria Vs Sat in USA the Differences

J.A.M.B and S.A.T exams have lots of similarities, both being entrance aptitude exams required by students in order to get admitted into colleges, these exams are meant to test the candidate’s intelligence and put the thinking ability of a candidate to test but with all these similar trends and attributes these exams are quite distinct in operations, frequency and mode of questions.

I would love to stand as an umpire in this article and award scores to these examinations, oh sorry opposing teams, lol but before starting to make you see the difference between these two. I will give brief entry on these exams.

J.A.M.B is the short form of Joint Admission Matriculation Board; this examination board is saddled with the responsibility of ushering prospective students into the country’s tertiary institutions (i.e. Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education) candidates eligible to write these examinations are candidates who must have had at least 5 credits in the NECO and WASSCE examination.
