J.A.M.B Result checking process just got easier and faster by introducing the USSD code right from your mobile phones, in the result checking process this time there will be no going to cyber cafes, no scratch cards needed and apparently no standing on long queues to find out or ascertain what you got or what is commensurate of yours efforts. Results are out already for all candidates who sat for the exams this year.
To check results candidates are required to send UTMERESULT to 55019 using their mobile phones with the number they got the profile code with.
These are the steps:
- I think you should know this as the first step, you will have recharge to with ₦50 and above for SMS charges
- Go into your message and create a message
- Type UTMERESULT result as the message
- Send to 55019
Note: This should be done with the number used in obtaining the profile code
Easy as ABC right? That is the innovation Jamb has brought to candidates at fingertips and in just a few minutes your result will be sent to you displaying your name and jamb score; your courses and schools applied for including your profile photo will not be displayed.
In a situation where the line you used in registering is lost or damaged the result cannot be provided except you retrieve or welcome back the Sim.
There is network congestion sometimes as a result of many people trying to check theirs so it is advisable you do not give up and stick around and try later when the coast will be clear but if it continues it is an indication that results of a particular candidate has been withheld.
