The primary mission of the Watson-Brown Foundation is to provide need and merit-based scholarships to select Georgia and South Carolina students attending accredited four-year colleges and universities in the United States. The scholarships are renewable in the amount of $5000

Field of Study: The scholarship is open to students pursuing careers in Development Studies, Public Policy, and International Relations, and houses several others: Latin American Studies, Middle East Studies, and South Asian Studies. It also administers the Master of Public Affairs (MPA) degree program, which prepares students for careers spanning public service, government, NGOs, foundations, and the private sector, and the Graduate Program in Development, which supports interdisciplinary learning and contextual expertise for doctoral students of the social sciences.
