About The Jim Ovia Scholarship: The Jim Ovia Scholars Program has existed since 1998. Mr. Jim Ovia has fully supported it in providing financial aid to exceptional Nigerian youth. The scholarship was previously called the MUSTE scholarship.ScholarshipBoard

Mr. Ovia established the Jim Ovia Scholarship to build a network of future Nigerian leaders who can compete globally with their peers, contribute fresh ideas and creativity, and are committed to improving the lives and circumstances of people in their local areas. Scholarships are awarded based on personal intellectual ability, leadership capacity, and a desire to use their knowledge to contribute to society throughout Nigeria by delivering service to their community and applying their talent and knowledge to enhance the lives of others.

Jim Ovia Scholarship Values and Inclusions

Successful applicants of the Jim Ovia Foundation Scholarship will receive full support during their undergraduate studies. This support will cover the following:

• Completed the application form (personal details)
• Valid government-issued ID card.
• An official original letter (not photocopied) from your school/Head of Department that states the following:
  • Your entire name
  • Course title
  • Department of study
  • CGPA, gender
  • Matriculation
• Newly matriculated students who have not yet acquired a matriculation number or school ID must submit a provisional admission letter to their institution of study.
