Eligibility for the David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship
To be qualified for this scholarship program, you must:
- Be citizens and permanent residents of any African Nation
- Be between the ages of 16 and 25 at the time of application submission.
- Be eligible to receive a Nigerian student visa
- Be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Have a record of exceptional performance at the secondary school level which is benchmarked by:
- At least 20 points above JAMB cut-off points (for Nigerians only)
- 80% recorded an average of 4.0GPA/5.0 in Secondary/High School Transcript
- Already have begun admission applications to Covenant or Landmark University

- Admission to the designated universities is dependent upon the successful completion of the scholarship application; admission to the university must be obtained separately through the university’s admissions process. As a result, the scholarship award is conditional on university acceptance.

Selection Criteria
The scholarship selection process is done based on merit. When the deadline for application has passed, the panel made for selection of applicants will review all the submitted applications and conduct an interview for the qualified applicants through an online video conference. You will need to provide the following if you qualify for the final round:
- Proof of application to Covenant University or Landmark University
- Proof of citizenship
- Original copies of the documents you uploaded during the application process
- The proof of a record of superior scholastic ability
- Displayed financial need
- Outstanding character
- Proof of record of leadership and community involvement
