Things to Do if You Missed Your JAMB Exam

If you missed out on your UTME, J.A.M.B has no provision to reschedule or write a makeup test on that basis

The only time J.A.M.B has considered rescheduling their exams is when they had glitches or other faults then they think of rescheduling the exams but when it has got nothing to do with them there is no way they would give heed to your plea.

J.A.M.B only give a makeup and change exam venues when the fault is from them. Apart from that it is a no go area.

IJMB and JUPEB are A level programs that run for a duration of 9 months unlike Jamb the result expires in 15 years time, IJMB and JUPEB is accepted by about 80% of the schools in Nigeria, you do not have to write UTME examinations again as admission is through Direct Entry.

Instead of waiting another full year at home for the next post-utme you could enroll into the pre-degree program of any university in a bid to prepare for the university life. The pre-degree is a year program that seeks to prepare you for the university life at the end of this program exams will be written, but note that you have to still register for J.A.M.B UTME and reach the cut-off set by the university to gain admission, you are advantaged because once you pass your exams and reach the cut-off admission is guarantees.

SCHOOLS OF NURSING

This is yet another way to gain admission, a school of nursing does not require UTME result on entry, all that is required is Credit passes in the science subject and maths and English which is compulsory
